Enjoy a trip along the Impressionists Trail

The Mantes Area Tourism Centre invites you to enjoy a discovery trip along the "Impressionists Trail".

In these various locations which inspired the work of Cézanne, Renoir, Sisley and Monet, reproductions of the artists' works remind visitors that the Mantes area has been a source of inspiration for some of the greatest painters from the mid-19th century to the early 20th century.
Ten paintings provide an opportunity to make a comparison between your present-day view of the landscape and the way the artist saw it in his day !

From Mantes-la-Jolie to Vétheuil travelling via Moisson, Bonnières-sur-Seine, Bennecourt, Saint-Martin-la-Garenne and Limetz-Villez. In order to help you the Mantes Area Tourism Centre will provide you with a free leaflet explaining the various stages along the trail.
